From what I see, this character would most likely be described as bishounen, because of his soft facial features.
So it's kind of hard for me to crit, since I don't draw bishounen men. (If he's not bishounen, i'm sorry for the misinterpretation). It's also hard to say what your shortcomings are, because it's kind of your own style. My first guess (and this is a guess), would be that his neck is kind of long. Another point is his kimono/(whatever it might be) is too pointy and not as relaxed as it probably should be (mostly where it curves around his neck). Your strong points would be; anatomy and almost everything else, like facial features. I'm not too sure what to expect from him, but from what I see, he comes off looking the calm type. I hope that was the sort of response you were look for. If not, "gomenasai". |

@Anime Jei: Thank you!! I'll work hard to improve my work. @9hoenix: Oh yes, I'm always tend to draw very long brows. I'll change that and post up the revised copy soon. Thanks for your opinion. @happydiaper8y: Thank you, I'll work hard. @1000 fists: Thanks, yeah, I guess the eyebrows are longer than usual, hahahaha...and yes, he's wearing one. It doesn't looks like one :P
He's not wearing a kimono, and I'm still trying to improve myself from drawing all sorts of shirts to fit in witht he character. This is just a shirt I drew based on my imagination. I'm not good in drawing shirts, especially how the lines should go ~_~ I'll try to master it soon. He's not calm, hahahaha; in fact I'll turn him into a real sadist. I'll probably gives him two personality, the calm, gentle, cool and caring type when he's facing the lens. And his innerself would be a real sadist?? Hahhaa, very much in love with sadist type of guy!

@john unating: *Blush blush* Thank you~ I was like being praise by an expert ^_^ @ Anime Jei: Thank you too~and yeah, my eyes almost came out from the sockets when I learned that one 4x6? Wacom digital tablet is very costly T_T Here's something I sketched days ago, I thought it would be fun to post it here. The kanji reads: たんじゅんせい - Tanjunsei (Simplicity) てんねん浮かれ男 - Tennen Ukareotoko (Natural Playboy)

Dear all,
Here's the female protagonist, Hoshimaru Hotaru. Hotaru is the childhood friend of Hiyori. She is also the daughter of Akimoto's housekeeper. She doesn't care about her appearance and she used to be an obese. One day Hiyori almost got kidnapped but was eventually saved by Hotaru however the girl suffered from critical brain concussion and had fell into deep coma. Years later, Hotaru woke up from her long sleep and from an obese girl, she turned into a fine and beautiful young woman. By the time when she woke up; her childhood friend, Hiyori is already a top model of the popular magazine, Bishounen's Diary. I hope you all will come to like Hotaru-chan ^_^ And as usual, I must apologize if the drawing is not good T_T Edited:

Hotaru is cute, Hmmm may I know what kind of inks are you using here? The expressions delivery is great, and you can really see the dicipline in your tones,
nothing really to comment about here cause the way I see it further practice and exposure is the only thing left. Keep smiling and have fun with it always
Little Chidorio!! ^_^;

@Strafe Breaker: Thanks again for your comment. The ink I'm using: black dipping ink: High-quality ink
is essential if you want your manga artwork to look as professional as possible. This authentic black Japanese ink are used by amateur and professional artists
alike.It is waterproof, durable and long-lasting. |

Wonderful just wonderful
Very little here to comment on for advice. Like Strafe said all that is really left is practice. The only crit I can give and it is more advice than a crit. You need to believe in your lines and stop second guessing them. along with this start working on line weighting a little, with these two things you will start to see much cleaner work and your pictures will begin to loosen up and flow better for you To save some money about half or more go to EBay All the works I present here are done with a wacom Artz II tablet it is 12X12 size and works very well for windows XP but will not work on vista. so if you have Windows XP for a first and cheap tablet I would say get an older UD series wacom or an Artz line. hope this helps. toodles Vel

Hi Michelle,
Thank you so much for your compliment and advice. I felt like I'm in cloud nine XD I've always find them useful as always. Cool, I checked out some tablets on eBay too, I don't have luck to find a cheap one yet, I'll keep on looking. Cheers, mi-chan~
