 ( It stands for Lolita not L :P) Please help with visual crits on this L picture its looks like some one elses hand
just some doodles based on Emilie Autumns song Gothic Lolita (not about the style but the book Lolita) Drawn on some lyrics i printed out It's fun listening to a son gabout Lolita whiel drawing about Lolita while reading Lolita ^^  I may draw a real Lolita based on Humbert Humberts description now :P

What's happened with the arm is that its angle makes it look like it's too far from his body.
Pointing it more towards the body and also a bit towards the "camera" (so to speak), then bending his wrist accordingly will make it look like it's his arm. Having said that, it's very difficult to get the positioning right if you've left no room on the paper to sketch out the shoulder and the upper arm. Other than that, it's pretty good. All the head needs is for his right eye needs to be taken in a little (at the moment, it looks too wide). |

The arm looks like it's someone else's. Since it's his left arm, it would have to be pretty darn long to reach his mouth at that angle.

You've got the eyebags and expression pretty spot on, so that's great! XD
For the arm, you see, you drew the left arm and hand(cos when you're pointing at yourself, the thumb is on the outside), yet the shoulder nearest the arm, and seemingly connected to it, is his right shoulder. Will try get some visuals out soon, but in the meantime, hope you see what I mean? ^^ |

Best part of that pic for me is definitely the hair. Spot on.
Yeah, the biggest problem with the hand is the fact that it's the wrong one to look natural. If it helps, before you draw all the details and what not, do the pose yourself and think where every finger is, position of hand, which hand it is you're using. That's what I do if i'm struggling with positioning or anything like that. The other problem is the lack of space to show where the arm is going. It almost looks like there's someone directly opposite him poking him in the lip. Still, all things considered it's a great picture and I like it! Also, i'm pretty good at repeating what everyone else's has said... I should learn to read the posts before replying lol

edit: well..i was wondering if anyone would be interested in makign it a collboration..and digitalizing it... you would be allowed to take majority credit if you wished as the main part of digitalizing is harder then pencil sketches, although i do liek some credit ^^ i understand if you do not wish to take part as my works aren't good ^^

Okay just so you know alot of this is just a base coat SO its not drawn with a mouse it was drawn with a tablet AND on photoshop. the bunch on the left is
more acurate to the ending colouring and lines.

Looks pretty good, but you mirrored they eyes huh? Cuz The light reflection isnt right.
I dont know if this is the size you colored it, but I think it easier to do detials if the pic you colored is bigger than this one.
