Hi......not sure if this is the right place but I didnt want to start another thread just because of it...

Anyway, this is a little .... complaint I guess, and it is about all of these competitions. I think this is going beyond of all what is ridicilous.
Some people just create competitions about anything, dont ask no one and then we have almost 3-4 competitions running, with less than few people participating and even lesser people voting.

Now Id like to just throw some ideas about organising...I know its easy to just dictate and critise, but whatever.

Well, my 2 cents -

- There should be only one competition per time. Just one. Not 2,3, or more.

- If anyone wants to start a compet., he should ask a mod first and wait for his/her approval.

- The competitioner should have some set rules, prizes (not necessary) and stuff like this.
Because most of competitons are "lets have a XYZ competition!! deadline is 2
days and winner gets nuthin, cuz its justa competition for the hell of it lol"

- Someone (sorry dont remeber exactly who) posted in general forum the competition ideas....I think thats nice, people can chose their own topics and dont have to draw what they dont like (or at least majority)

- For the prizes.....I dont know, maybe we cold have a little "Hall of Fame" for people who win in some competitions...ad there have something about them, links to their artworks, yadda yadda...you know, to throw them in the spotlight fot a bit.


Well, thats everything I could quickly think of right now, but I thought there should be something done....and if it was already suggested,sorry...^^;
