KasaiLan: officially, I consider this kind of like a warm-up thing before I make a more serious drawing of Lucia. I was just trying out how to draw her hair 'cause it seemed to have some nuances to it.. then I thought it'd be interesting to do a quick color job. Haha! look at that crooked eye.... but some real-life people are really like that. XD More Practice Sketches This will probably be the sketch for the my serious Lucia fanart for KasaiLan. But I think it needs a lot of tweaking. The eyes will probably be slightly smaller in the final one.. and I'm not sure.. but I think the head is too big for the body, or maybe it's just the hair... but the problem really is that I think it's too bent forward... Though if I were to criticize anything it would have to be that the neckline of her sweater (?) seems paper thin, giving the clothes virtually no thickness to them at all. If that was intended, please overlook this statement. Other than that, I can't see anything wrong other than the no shadow bang between the eyes. Good Job! I hope to see a full body pose later.

And as far as is the story written, you don't need to think about it, she doesn't appear yet, only the prologue is written. But I can say you got her look quite right ^^ But yeah, that's my fault for her haircut not being stable, I'm still in the processing of finding the final design for her hair so I changes it a bit quite often. But I think the recent drawings should show the hair correctly. And yay for crooked eyes xD, it happens quite often in face view, that's why I draw most of my drawings on 3/4 view, I also think it's more dynamic. (and you don't have to worry about symetrical issues) But I still draw face views, though I'm never satisfied with them. Looking forward to the final art, thanks alot pharan ^^

But the neckline of the sweater doesn't go all the way. Can't you see that it thickens a little on the left (our left, her right) side? I agree with you on the frontal thing. It's a real pain. But it's something that has to be drawn sometimes, right? haha! What I used to do was draw on ruled paper, then ink it on the computer XD Did I get her hairstyle right yet, Kasailan? MU Junior Posts: 273 01/15/08 13:16:21	Yeah, lined paper advantages... lol The hairstyle is very correct, I think you even draw it better than me lol, I was having problems with balancing it but it seems you know how to do it. The only thing that you might have forgotten is her backribbon http://kasailan.deviantart.com/art/Lucia-Character-Sheet-Final-66825213 But it's understandable as I don't always draw it, it doesn't appear at all in my last drawings of her too. It's just a detail though, you don't need to add it if you don't feel like it, but you can add it too if you want, your choice xD. Overall, impressive doodles, I love them ^^ Especially the right one, very good flow of hair and demon eyes, it's awesome! =D But what are the stuffs around it? I can distinguish speed lines and maybe her arm and hand but I don't get what are the other stuffs lol

It can be style you know. In manga, female characters can have bigger heads. I've seen some styles where the head is as wide as the body.
