Hey welsh... thoughts Id take the time to giv a few comments. Kiki makes a good point (and researched it brilliantly for you) about the wings starting point. While u might be used to drawing them starting from the top of the shoulders, from a anatomical point of view, its not very practical and ultimately has the effect of making the subjects in your drawings much less believable.Wings start from the should blades as this is a central torso point, that has alot of muscles around to support their moment. Also remember that wings are ultimatley made up from bone and muscle if natural (oor metal etc)... but require a form that would allow them to function, unless they are simply there to look pretty?!

Enough about the wings anyway, theres a few other anatomical problems wit your character here. His torso is a bit too big in comparison to his legs and hands. DO you use guidlines for your characters bodies to start with? Like start with a basic stick man and then build it up? If not, I think this would be a good place to start, as you can get a much betetr idea of the proportions of your character before you involve the details, and it allows for alot better form and posture. Good to see your drawing the hands and feet! Keep up the practice, and youll have mastered them in no time! The hands are a bit too small, but otherwise pretty good!

Last crit is the symmetry of the head. His skull is slightly lop sided. I find that one helpful trick to catch alot of flaws in your work is to flip the picture (hold it backwards up to a light or look at it in a mirror). This seems to allow you to notice alot of the unsemettrical/flawed areas yourself, but like you can by looking at your friends of family in a mirror. Try It! Hahah... Anyway.. god work and keep practicing!

Just be careful about multim-ple threads and postings... mayeb you should think about just having a single gallery thread and updating?
