I try to remain objective, although it's not easy when you get attached to something, this down here took me 2 almost full days to create and was a great way to learn lots of things, hopefully I got SOMETHING right, hehe.
Uh yes, no background, I just put a simple black because I thought it seemed to fit better then white, although a proper background, something like curved speed-lines would probably do the character more justice.
As I said earlier, I try to remain objective, and I can see allot of errors on my own, and I also know that I really need to work on anatomy, I have no idea if a dress would look or act like that, I should probably have added some more wrinkles at the bottom of the chest towards the viewer.
I'm also uncertain about the shadows and especially the highlights, I have never ever done something quite like this before.
Enough ranting, I just didn't want to seem the kind that would judge others people's often great work without showing my own human side
So fire away! Anything would help really, suggestions on reading material for example since I'm not really sure where to go from here, but it would seem that studying real human anatomy would be a safe bet.
Cheers!
